We are writing to introduce you to our premier online destination for your summer campers and alumni to connect. It’s A Camp Thing (www.itsacampthing.com) is your online destination for year round camp-related news, stories, contests and social interaction.
If you are not familiar with “It’s A Camp Thing,” our website is a destination where current and former campers can connect, re-connect and engage through our interactive platform. With a content team consisting of current campers, camp alumni and staffers, It’s A Camp Thing serves as a global champion for all things summer camp related, with information and articles appropriate for all ages.
Our latest series, Camp Breeds Winners, has just launched on It’s A Camp Thing and we’re looking for your extraordinary campers and alumni to take part! We know that the lessons and experiences from camp have shaped us into who we are, and we want to share other personal stories of accomplishment. Camp Breeds Winners is an interview and conversation with exceptional campers (both current and former), focusing on how campers feel their camp, and skills learned only at summer camp, have been vital to their success. From starting their own business, to charitable and civic contributions, the It’s A Camp Thing community is looking for fellow campers to be recognized in Camp Breeds Winners for their admirable or noteworthy accomplishments.
Our goal in sharing these compelling narratives with our community is to reinforce the central belief of It’s A Camp Thing – summer camp experiences provide tremendous lifetime benefits! In short, that #CampBreedsWinners.
We are looking for these deserving campers and alumni and would appreciate your assistance in identifying them. We encourage you to share this letter with the parents of your current campers for the Camp Breeds Winners series on It’s A Camp Thing, and directly with your adult alumni. Parents and alumni are welcome to contact us directly for additional information about Camp Breeds Winners.
We look forward to receiving your submissions, and as always welcome your questions, concerns and suggestions to make It’s A Camp Thing, the best online camp community possible!
