People couldn’t tell you about what happened to them in the 5th grade, but [we’re positive] they can tell you about what happened during the Summer of 5th grade… at Camp! Whether it was endless hours of outdoor fun, making friendship bracelets, a first crush, or simply just the first time you tasted independence because your parents were not around. Camp is an experience that NO one forgets.
From the creative minds that brought you CAMPLIFIED, ItsACampThing.com brings together past, present and future camp alumni to unite on all things camp. It’s A Camp Thing is a one of a kind opportunity for former campers to let loose and unpack all those invaluable life lessons learned in the bunk, on the waterfront, or around the campfire, that continue to impact their lives today, to present and future campers. With staff writers primarily consisting of campers and former campers, it will provide high quality content for all ages in entertainment, pop culture, photography, an interactive web series and contests. We bring many of the attributes of summer camp to you all year long.
Our first video segment From Camp to …, will be hosted by Camp Laurel South alumna NICOLE RYAN, now cohost of SiriusXM’s The Morning Mashup on Hits 1.
From Camp to … will feature celebrities and public figures who were once Campers sharing their camp experiences and stories. We want to hear memorable events that your celebrity/public figure clients recall from warm summer days spent at Camp. Their first kiss, their first on stage performance, keeping in touch with their first “bestie” during the year, sneaking out to meet their first crush and scheming on how to win their first Color War victory. It’s a Camp Thing wants to feature video interviews by Alumni that we admire and that current campers can relate to and begin to learn the possibilities that exist in “the real world” that can be attained by using your camp skills. It’s a Camp Thing is for Campers, by Campers.
It’s A Camp Thing is the forum for the 20MM+ strong camper community. While sharing their path, “From Camp to…” your clients can actively promote their projects while simultaneously promoting that fundamental camp skills AREN’T only a camp thing.
It’s A Camp Thing is currently taping in NYC and LA and would love to book your clients.
